Here is another reason i say TV hides the truth and the tape will never lie!! Everyone jumped on Randy moss based on what they saw on TV, i even said this is nothing new he has done this for year in fact i did a playbook on Randy in his second year with the Vikings and we showed him standing, walking or just jogging on a high percentage of plays i cant remember the number but it was high. and we also pointed out the negative affect it had on those plays. Well it was the truth then and i had visual evidence of it ( tape does not lie). Well i have heard some people even say he was useless??? Well i just got done watching the TAPE of the patriots offense against Carolina, so let me make one thing very clear, Randy never took a play off, in fact Carolina thinks he is so useless they geared their entire game plan around stopping him!! Here is what i did see, i saw a guy (Randy) making great blocks in the running game and passing game. I also saw Tom Brady start his reads away from Randy about 60% of the time because of the pre snap coverage and i watch the Patriots use him to free up Wes Welker, in fact next time you watch the patriots watch how many times they motion Welker over Moss, what they are trying to do is to get Moss to drag coverage away from Welker and it works. And just to clear up a few thing about that game, on the pick Brady threw, yes that was not Moss’s best route but i will tell you this the throw was worse, in fact based on how the corner was playing (with outside technique) you could argue the throw should have never been made and from the end zone angle you could see Brady wheeled out of the throw because he had pressure in his face and the ball sailed on him. Listen if i ever thought someone quit on his team i would be the first to tell you. But Randy did not quit not on one play did he quit!!! so for those who say he is useless, I would like to know where they got there information? if it was TV then they just used a useless visual period. The truth is in the tape!!
