Just finished watching the Saints offense against the Panther D. The reason i chose the Panthers D is because they play a lot of man coverage much like the Patriots do. I wanted to see how the Saints ended up breaking down the Panther D. I”m telling you it was most interesting. Tape is the door way to the future in a lot of cases, it give you insight to what to expect, for example the Saints used this 3 WR formation to dictate coverage and create a match up based on what the Panther did. a couple of wrinkles to this formation, first the saints have 3 WR to one side, so to the other side the saints put their TE Jeremy Shockey over there and last little twist the Saints keep Reggie Bush in the backfield. Well here is how the panthers lined up to that, now remember they play a lot of man, well they lined up in zone because it is very difficult to put your best cover guys all on one side to match up to the 3 WR’s and leave shockey alone with a safety or LB and who will cover Bush? Say what you want about Reggie bush he can be a game changer if he gets the ball on the perimeter and he has hurt the Panthers before. So here is what the Panther did, they played a cover two to the 3 WR and Shockey and used a safety to play Reggie man to man and rushed just 3. the result TD Saints. Watch the Match up show at 7:30 am this sunday on espn and i will show this play. this game between the Saints and Patriots could be the ultimate NFL match up of some time.

If you wondering why Mark Sanchez has been inconsistent the last 7 weeks, you will need to watch the NFL Match up show on Espn Sunday morning at 7:30 am and i will show you some of the reason for his inconsistencies. People say he has great foot work??? Are you kidding me, he has quick feet i will give him that but he is all over the place. His foot work is atrocious and i will show what i mean on that show. He does do some things very well and with time and a lot of work he can correct these problems. One thing is for sure he plays at a very fast pass, in fact i thought my clicker was stuck on fast forward he was moving so fast. He is very hard to watch because he has no rhythm and he is very erratic.

boy oh boy the AZ Cardinals offense is smoken!! I just got done watching the coaching tape and they have great explosive balance in their offense. Chris Wells and Hightower are both physical and powerful. One concern i have with Wells and i saw it in college is he does not play every game as hard as he can and that always bothers me. Against Seattle he ran with power and was physical so i would expect the same thing from him for the rest of the season, because Hightower has shoulder most of the load up to this point to Wells should miss hitting that rookie wall most hit about right now.

Kurt Warner is as smooth as it comes at the QB position. as i study him i think he is the best at working thru a progression. I watch him on so many plays start on one side of the field and work right back to the other side and throw a completion. Very impressing and fun to watch.
